Honor Flight

Dear Orange Friends:

A few weeks ago, I had the great honor of escorting a group of Syracuse area veterans to Washington, D.C. The trip was sponsored by the Syracuse chapter of Honor Flight. Honor Flight is a national nonprofit that sends veterans, cost-free, to visit the national memorials honoring their service.

Dear Orange Friends:

She never met a person she did not like.

Election Day

Dear Orange Friends:

In partnership with the Student Association, the University is working to ensure that students who are registered to vote locally know and understand where they can vote tomorrow. In addition, the Student Association is sponsoring buses to transport students from campus to their polling place and back.

True Citizenship

Dear Orange Friends:

Recently, I met with several editors from the Daily Orange to discuss a number of important issues facing our campus. Their last question asked for my thoughts on what was accurately described as one “wild” presidential election.
